Rolling on from our previous episode with Kelly, Sean Ryan hops on to chat with Dave & Greg. Sean gives us an overview of his business and how he would traditionally deliver his services. Sean explains how the impact of COVID-19 is changing how he offers his consulting services. The group talks about teleconferencing and zoom calls. Sean talks about how they’ve broken down the materials and when they’ve decided to have a teleconference session. Dave asks why we have to be forced into this use of technology to use it.
10 Minutes – 20 Minutes
The group talks about overcoming the mental roadblock of everything having to be in person. Sean explains that he’s seeing the benefit of doing sessions virtually to be able to bring in more people. They talk about balancing video calls, phone calls and changing the way we work.
20 Minutes – 30 Minutes
Sean explains the impact the changes are having on his business and how he prefers the term “next normal” to stay focused on moving forward. Dave asks Sean what he thinks will change in the future. Sean shares that he thinks business that had reasonable control on their balance sheets, not just financial but management wise will be in a better spot. Businesses who didn’t have reasonable control will be preparing to be better prepared in future. Sean shares the details around his upcoming book.

As a writer and speaker, Sean is keenly aware of the powerful way words can engage, inspire and inform people.
